HI 93735
Full Range
of Total Hardness in ppm, °fH, °dH and °eH
·
Description
Total hardness, that is the presence of magnesium and
calcium, is due mainly to the run-off water dissolving these salts as it
flows or filters through different
strata.
Hardness can also cause scaling of pipes in
cooling and heating systems. Reverse osmosis and demineralization also increase
hardness levels.
The HANNA® hardness meter, HI 93735,
measures total hardness in three different scales: 0 to 250, 200 to 500 and 400
to 750 ppm,
covering an extensive range
of applications.
With HI 93735 hardness can be measured in ppm (mg/L) as well as in French (°fH),
German (°dH) and English
hardness (°eH).
The reading is expressed directly in ppm
and it is not necessary to use conversion tables and diagrams for
interpretation.
