Trek’s Model 900 is a diagnostic tool used to identify incidents or verify suspected areas of ESD		ÿ
activity. An ESD sensitive antenna on the unit can be positioned in ESD sensitive environments to		ÿ
detect problem areas of electrostatic discharges. ÿ		ÿ
Trek’s Model 900 ESD Event Detector alerts and displays information concerning electrostatic		ÿ
discharges. Upon an ESD event detection, an audible buzzer automatically sounds for two seconds		ÿ
(or it can be switched OFF) while five (5) color coded LEDs visually depict the relative intensity level		ÿ
of the event. ÿ		ÿ
Resetting the unit is either performed automatically or manually by the use of a front panel selector		ÿ
switch. The unit can be powered 5 to 7 hours from batteries or a power cube can be used for		ÿ
continuous AC line operation. ÿ		ÿ
