Measuring up to 36 parameters has never been easier. The front of the instrument lists all the
parameters numerically. The display shows the same number for a quick reference during testing.
Just select the parameter, zero the instrument, add reagents, and measure!
The 83 Series runs for hours on common, inexpensive, 9V batteries. In addition, it can operate
continuously with the including power adapter it is also extremely simple to use. The front mask
lists all of the parameters in numerical order and the display shows the same numbers for a quick
reference during testing.
Accuracy and Precision with HI 83 Series Optical System
The HI 83 series multiparameter photometers use an advanced optical system which combines a
tungsten lamp and a narrow band interference filter. It also allows the most accurate and
repeatable readings in 420, 525, 575, and 620 nm wavelengths. The HI 83 series optical system,
with its ability to measure accurately on four different wavelengths, allows the instrument to test
a wide range of parameters.
The meter can be zeroed in seconds and the reagents cost much less than what you have been
paying. All this and much more at a fraction of the cost of expensive and complex spectrophotometers!
All meters use an exclusive positive-locking system to ensure that the cuvet is in the same position
every time it is placed into the measurement cell.
A built-in RS232 port ensures that data can be downloaded to your PC for further study. Use our
optional HI 92000 Windows compatible software to get the most out of your meter.
