Improved Design – The FT Fruit Tester offers improved accuracy by:
Controlling penetration depth with redesigned penetrometer tips.
Providing accuracy verifications by suspending test weights on a hook.
Including the Wagner FDK Force Gage as the FT standard.
Penetrometer Tip – When testing fruit, the operator must ensure the penetrometer tip
stops at the correct depth while limiting penetration speed.
The new Wagner Penetrometer tip features a sharp change in the tip diameter at the correct
depth distance making it easier to sight the stopping point.
CONSTRUCTION:
The new FT Fruit Tester features the Wagner FDK Force Gage with virtually no change in
capacities or graduations. Impact resistant plastic housing, stainless steel tips and corrosion
resistant components.
OPERATION:
Simply  press the FT into the fruit pulp with slow steady force against the gage resistance,
stopping at the tip diameter break.
PEAK HOLD:
Peak readings are held until the button is pushed.
